Doha, Qatar: As the big day of Wimbledon Women's Final 2023 arrives, beIN Sports has announced that it will telecast the match on its free-to-air channels.
Tennis fans are eagerly waiting for the final showdown between Tunisian World No.6 Ons Jabeur and unseeded player from Czech Republic Marketa Vondrousova that will take place at 4pm Doha Time today, July 15, 2023.
beIN Sports, beIN Sports 5, beIN Sports English1 will all telecast the match live that will take place at Wimbledon Center court.
Last year Ons Jabeur became the first African woman and the only Arab woman from North Africa to reach the Wimbledon final in the Open era. She also made it to the US Open women's final in 2022. She lost both the major finals and aims to claim her first Grand Slam trophy.
Meanwhile Czech Republic native Vondrousova is the first unseeded player in 60 years to advance to Wimbledon Women's final, an achievement that has not been seen since unseeded Billie Jean King reached the Grand Slam singles final in 1963.
Both the players overcame challenging obstacles to play in the finals today and both will be battling out for the coveted Wimbledon title this afternoon.
