DUBAI: Shares in Qatar’s Mesaieed Petrochemical surged in heavy trade yesterday after MSCI said it had added the stock to its MSCI All-Country World Index. Shares were up 7.1 percent at 0639 GMT, having jumped 10 percent — their daily limit — in early trade. The stock’s rise helped Doha’s index climb 0.7 percent to 13,611 points, hitting a 10-week intra-day high.
