The Qatar General Organisation for Standards and Metrology (QS) held several coordinating meetings with representatives of the industrial sectors at the Department of Industrial Estates under the Ministry of Energy and Industry, in cooperation with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Qatar.
These meetings come within the framework of the encouraging policies adopted by the nation to remove any obstacles local investors face, mostly the medium and small industries in the new industrial zone. The meetings was part of the joint cooperation between the QS and Industrial Zone Management to provide the technical support for local production and industry.
The QS in coordination with Industrial zones Department will conduct field visits to the factories, with efficient technical teams to support and provide technical solutions for industrial projects.
The field visits aim to provide integrated services through specialised departments to stimulate competition and support the national product and to encourage new investors in many of the industrial fields required by the national economy.
