DOHA: Quality management and patient safety was discussed by industry experts from across the globe at Aspetar as the third annual United in Quality and Safety week began yesterday. Representatives from the International Olympic Committee Medical Commission, Supreme Council of Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, the University of Calgary-Qatar, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Aspetar are attending the event.
A number of specialist speakers will discuss a variety of topics, including Dr Luke Feeney, Programme Director at Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland; Professor David Mottram, Emeritus Professor of Pharmacy Practice; Mark Stuart, Sports Pharmacy Specialist and Conference Director of British Medical Journal Publishing Group, and John Hartley, manager of the of Quality Management at Aspetar.
