Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Monday in Doha with President of the Republic of Turkiye HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, convened today at the Sheraton Doha Hotel, in response to the Israeli attack on Doha on September 9, which targeted the residences of Hamas' negotiating team.
The two leaders addressed ways to further boost bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues of common interest - with particular focus on the recent treacherous Israeli attack.
Also on the table were other key topics on the summit's agenda.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, and Chief of the Amiri Diwan, HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi.
Also in attendance from the Turkish side were Their Excellencies the members of the official delegation accompanying HE the President.
