DOHA: A multi-million health spa, hotel and resort is set to rise near the Aqua Park set to be a significant addition to Qatar’s tourist destinations.
With an estimated cost of QR150m, the Salwa Health Spa and Resort project will be launched next year. It will be built on an area of 300,000sqm, the first phase of which will be constructed on a 200,000sqm plot.
The health resort itself will have an area of 3, 400sqm and include two swimming pools inside, 78 hotel rooms and nine two-room and three-room villas.
The outer area will feature an Olympic swimming pool and a green area in addition to four swimming pools between the villas and an artificial lake with an area 5,000sqm. In line with this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Hala Group Enterprises and Vichy Spa Hotel and Resorts International.
