Islamabad: Senior police officer, Nisar Mengal, was gunned down yesterday in Balochistan’s restive town of Khuzdar, it was reported yesterday. Officials said Mengal was targeted in the Double Road area, where unidentified armed men on motorbikes intercepted his car and opened fire at him while he was on his way to the local police station.
He died on the spot of multiple bullet wounds.
