Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings with leaders of Arab countries.
In telephone calls, the Emir greeted the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, H M King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Yemen’s President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and Lebanese President Michel Suleiman.
The Emir also exchanged greetings with Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Bahrain’s Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
Earlier, the Emir received a congratulatory cable from the Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Kholeifi.
The Emir, in a reply, thanked Kholeifi and exchanged greetings with council members. The Emir asked Allah The Almighty for the best of health and happiness to them and more welfare, progress and prosperity for the Qatari people.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also exchanged greetings with a number of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries. QNA
