Al Attiyah praises Morocco's role in motor sports

Rabat: Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation President and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) Vice President Nasser Al Attiyah said that Morocco is one of the most Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region effective countries in motor sports.

In remarks he made during his stay in Morocco, Al Attiyah said that he would work hard to highlight the brilliant aspects of Morocco motor sport. "Morocco is considered one of the most distinguished countries that produced many champions, in addition to hosting and organizing many international championships," he added.
Al Attiyah stated that FIA President Jean Todt was and still keen on sustaining all issues related to the promotion of motor sport all over the world , also the FIA general assembly board members seek finding fertilized ground for building a good future for this sport, all work hard for these goals , as motor sport became nowadays one of the most important sports. 
He pointed that his visit to Morocco, which was advised by FIA President visit was very successful. "I met many characters responsible for the motor sport in Morocco, during the meeting, many points of view have been exchanged," he said.
Nasser Al Attiyah will head to Amman, Jordan to attend that start of Jordan International Rally which will be held on 15-17 October.
