Ideal Indian School celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm. The day commemorates the 128th Birth Anniversary of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of the independent India.

Jawaharlal Nehru, a great visionary leader, envisaged the future of a sovereign India in the little faces of children.

He loved and adored them; hence his birth being marked as the Children’s Day.

Special assemblies were organised in all sections of the school , where both the teachers and the students spoke on the life and contributions of Jawaharlal Nehru. Addressing the students, Syed Shoukath Ali, Principal, urged the students to “Keep smiling” that can make someone very happy or just give them the strength to keep going.

He also urged them to keep up their momentum and move forward to pursue their goals.

The students of Junior Section  enjoyed the Children’s’ Day with Colouring competition, dance, music and games.

Tiny tots of KG section listened patiently to their teachers who talked to them of the great leader, his aspirations and his dreams. The tiny tots depicted through their dresses the dreams Chacha Nehru had from them. The classrooms were decorated and students coloured  worksheets.

In the Boys and Girls sections, a fun -filled programme was organised by the teachers for the students. A children’s movie was also screened on the occasion.

The Girls section celebrated the Children’s Day with a  special cultural programme by teachers which enthralled the children.
