DOHA: Qatar National Broadband Network (Qnbn) put the spotlight on its new manifesto that pledges to empower the nation through its high speed fibre optic broadband network at the 4th edition of the Fiber to the Home Middle East and North Africa Council’s (FTTH MENA) two-day conference that concluded here yesterday with the theme of “FTTH, The Future at the Speed of Light”, said a statement.

Qnbn took centre stage as a Platinum sponsor of the event.

Mohammad Al Mannai, CEO of Qnbn, who launched the new Manifesto, said: “We are immensely proud of being at the forefront of technology, deploying fiber optic infrastructure that will transform the lives of all who live and work in Qatar. Our pledge is to make Qatar one of the best connected countries in the region, if not the world.”

The manifesto was signed by ictQatar Assistant Secretary General for Government Programs and Qnbn Board Director, Hassan Al Sayed and Al Mannai as well as Qnbn’s senior management and staff.

Through its investment in advanced technologies, Qnbn will enable Qatar in every sense to fulfill its potential as one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
