Doha: Qatar Audit Bureau organised a meeting on the method of reporting to supreme audit institutions. The meeting was held in cooperation with the Arab Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) recently.
A press statement issued by the bureau yesterday said the meeting was attended by 35 employees of financial supervisory bodies and audit institutions from 14 Arab countries, adding that the event was part of ARABOSAI training plan for 2013. It tackled various subjects put forward by Qatar Audit Bureau experts and an expert from Yemen Central Organisation for Control and Audit, it said.
The meeting discussed topics on preparation of supervisory reporting, in addition to tackling the general framework of the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI standards) with a focus on standards of drafting report and instructions for the preparation of supervisory reporting.
