African asylum seekers participate in a protest in Tel Aviv yesterday. Several hundred women and children marched to the offices of UN’s refugee agency, the UNHCR, and the US embassy, protesting against Israel’s refusal to grant them refugee status and the opening of ‘Holot’, the new detention facility in the country’s south.
