Male: Maldivian President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom received credentials of Qatari Non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Rashid bin Shafie Al Marri at the presidential palace in the capital Male.
Al Marri conveyed the greetings of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and their wishes of happiness for him and continued progress and development for the Maldivian people.
They reviewed bilateral relations and means of strengthening them to serve the interests of both peoples. Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon was present. QNA
