Of those one million, 13.1% were looking for jobs for six months. This is the highest percentage since 2002 when it reached 13.8%. Another 9,000 has been looking for a job for a full year. Since 2008, the number of people looking for jobs for six months has swung between 6-9%, until it hit double digits in 2015.
