This noteworthy contest, held since 2003, yet again proved its ability to give a tough competition and bring out the best mathematicians from Grade VIII and IX.

Five teams progressed from the preliminary to the final round of the competition.

The quiz, right from the onset, had a number of twists and turns with the lead changing with every round. However, towards the end, DPS deftly gained its impetus, catapulted itself to the dominant position, and topped the quiz with 225 points, quite ahead of the runner-up team.

The five teams vying for honours had to clear nine rounds of complex mathematical problems.  There was also a special set of questions for the audience, offering several goodies as gifts. The programme was an overall success.
