Hamad Bin Jassim Center for Integrated Rehabilitation Care in the Gaza Strip
Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation left a unique imprint in 2022 by revealing many projects, some of which have been completed and started to provide their services, while others are under construction.
These projects contribute not only to provision of health care services but also to promotion of awareness about health culture in those communities by focusing on providing quality services in the medical field that are more comprehensive, especially in the field of disabilities that contribute to enabling this segment to achieve an effective social and developmental presence.
Projects abroad:
The year 2022 witnessed the opening and continued operation of a number of hospitals and health centers providing medical care services, primary health care, or centers specialised in dialysis.
The most prominent is the opening of Sharifa Hospital in the city of Marrakech, Kingdom of Morocco which is expected to serve over 160,000 cases annually.
Also, it is continuing to support the Hamad Bin Jassim Center for Integrated Rehabilitation Care in the Gaza Strip, supporting a segment of people with multiple and permanent disabilities.
In addition to the continuation of construction work at Hamad Bin Jassim General Hospital in Rafah.
The Foundation is also providing support for the operation of Sheikh Jassim Bin Jabr Al Thani Primary Health Care Center in Azraq camp in the Kingdom of Jordan.
It is one of the pioneering models of the projects of Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation, as the number of beneficiaries of its services reached approximately 100,000 patients annually.
Work is also continuing to equip Sheikh Jassim Hospital in Pakistan, Punjab province, which provides a number of important medical specialities to the residents of the region.
The project is considered a great achievement given the size of the numbers that are expected to benefit from its services, over 150,000 people of the region and the neighboring areas. The hospital contributes to providing job opportunities for nearly 200 employees from the residents of the region.
Projects inside the country:
Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation attaches great importance to local projects and is keen to activate its role in supporting various efforts to improve the health sector, by building effective partnerships with many institutions and associations working in the medical field.
The Foundation realises the importance of uniting efforts in building an effective health system in accordance with the highest international standards for building a healthier society.
Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has contributed in a number of initiatives, health projects launched by health institutions and associations, led by Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Diabetes Association, Qatar Cancer Society, and other qualitative efforts in the health sector.
