Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation announced that the value of the monthly internal aid provided during December 2022 amounted QR1,657,645.
These assistance was given to a number of needy families. The assistance also included payment of tuition fees for a number of students in local schools and universities, as well as financial and in-kind supports.
These monthly and continuous aids come throughout the year due to the great attentions that Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation gives to projects and initiatives inside Qatar, and occupies a significant position within the charity’s priority map, based on its assumption that the societal responsibilities enhance its vision of “health and education for a better life”.
Health and education:
Considering that the fields of health and education reflect the vision of the Foundation, in December 2022, the Foundation provided support to a number of educational institutions, including schools and universities, with a total amount of QR1,300,770, which included the payment of tuition fees for students at various educational levels.
This aid comes within the framework of the Foundation’s endeavors to continue meeting the necessary needs of this segment of students, with aims of enabling them to continue their scientific and academic achievement without any material obstacles that could prevent them.
The Foundation also provided support for many cultural events and activities, as well as a number of civil society organisations, with a total value of QR48,500.
Financial aid:
In the context of financial and lump-sum assistance, Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation is adopting a flexible and effective mechanism with the aim of reaching the largest segment of the needy groups inside Qatar.
The value of the financial and in-kind assistance provided by the Foundation during December 2022, amounted to QR308,375. This reflects the keenness of the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation to carry out its social responsibilities by providing continuous support to people in need with the aim of improving their living conditions and supporting their aspirations for a better life.
