Doha: With an objective to provide Rajagirians an exposure to the novel scientific techniques and an experience as young innovators, Rajagiri Public School (RPS), Doha has organised Rajagiri Expo-2022.
Anand Victor, the Principal of Scholars’ International School, Doha inaugurated the expo. The chief guest remarked that the expo will enable the students to discover their talents in new areas, help them to use the resources within them and be transformers rather than conformers.
Academics director Dr. Prasant Palakkappillil added that the expo will help to develop scientific temper and spirit of enquiry in the students.
Students of grade 5 to 11 participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. There were around 250 exhibits which were categorised into four- working model, still model, charts and presentations. The meticulous coordination of all the departments along with the expo coordinator Harish Thalapil led to the success of the Rajagiri Expo.
The participants explained their models and innovations to the visitors enthusiastically. The faces of the young innovators were gleaming with the joy of discovering new things.
The chief guest and the members of the management visited all the exhibits and appreciated the students for their effort and the hard work which was reflected through the high-quality exhibits.
The millet stall reminded the visitors about celebrating 2023 as the year of millets. The support extended by the parent community of Rajagiri was also highly commendable.
