Chandigarh: A shoe was hurled by a man at Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda during a function at Dabwali town yesterday. The man was arrested.
The shoe, however, fell well short of its target. It landed near the media enclosure at the venue of the “Rail Pull rally” in Dabwali in Sirsa district, 265km from here.
Haryana Police personnel immediately pounced on the attacker and took him away from the venue. The middle-aged man, identified as Raja Ram, is a resident of Nathusari Chopta village in Sirsa. IANS
