DOHA: Qatar Museums (QM) recently welcomed its 10,000th Culture Pass member.
The Culture Pass Programme, launched in partnership with Vodafone Qatar last May, is open for all for free.
It provides members with a chance to experience exclusive benefits linked to diverse cultural activities across Qatar.
“We are delighted to welcome our 10,000th Culture Pass member to the programme.
“The Culture Pass has strongly established itself over a short time as the programme of choice for the art and culture community in Qatar,” said Phil Lawrie, Chief Commercial Officer, Enterprises Group, QM.
The programme is aligned with QM’s vision of enriching the lives of all who live in and visit Qatar as well as inspiring an indigenous culture of creativity and innovation.
It draws together experiences QM has to offer across Doha, giving members exclusive benefits, including regular invites to VIP exhibition openings and private tours of museums and galleries.
Members also receive regular newsletters to keep updated with latest news from QM and cultural offerings across Doha.
Culture Pass members also benefit from 15 percent discount at QM cafes and gift shops and 10 percent discount on venue hire at premium spaces across Qatar.
To celebrate the joining of its 10,000th member, the winner, Naema Al Hail, received a prize of a luxurious lunch for two at Michelin Starred IDAM restaurant on the top floor of Museum of Islamic Art and designer products from MIA gift shop worth QR1,000.
As part of the partnership between QM and Vodafone and to meet members’ expectations, the programme offers members a special customer service experience through Vodafone’s call centres.
Members are also invited to specialist workshops to participate in arts, culture and heritage, and get creative.
