QSE Index gained 190.17 points last week

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 87.77 points  or 0.82 percent to close at 10,819.30 points yesterday. On the weekly basis, the index has gained 190.17 points  or1.79 percent.
 The volume of shares traded yesterday increased to 13.33 million from 9.35 million on Wednesday and the value of shares also added to QR531.85m from QR383.92m Wednesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading yesterday. From these, 30 gained and 9 companies closed lower, remained one company unchanged. Indices of all sectors ended in green.
QSE Total Return Index increased 0.82 to 17,562.83 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index up 0.99 percent to 4,107.80 points and QSE All Share Index gained to 0.77 percent to 2,971.33 points.
Trading value during the week increased by 3.91 percent to reach QR1.33bn compared to QR1.29bn.
Trading volume decreased by 15.66 percent to reach 36 million shares, as against 42.9million shares, while the number of transactions fell by 2.19 percent, to reach 17,054 transactions as compared to 17,436 transactions.
