Case lodged for Orangi Town bomb blast

KARACHI: The case has been registered for Saturday’s Orangi Town blast which had claimed two lives and left 10 others injured. 

The case no 41 was registered by Shakeel Siddiqui, a brother in law of one of the deceased, and includes sections of anti terrorism act. 

The Saturday night’s bomb blast was caused by explosives planted near a cabin of burger vendor. 

The hospital where the injured are being treated says condition of five of them is still serious.  

The SP Orangi said the blast was caused by planted explosives weighing 1 kg. Ball bearings were also embedded in the explosives to cause maximum damage.
