The 150-member team was led by Sigmar Gabriel, Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy; Dr Peter Göpfrich, CEO, German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce; Jürgen Friedrich, CEO, Germany Trade and Invest Agency, and Luka Mucic, Chief Financial Officer,  SAP AG. The delegation was briefed on the museum, considered one of Qatar’s most notable heritage centres due to its eclectic collection ranging from cultural and heritage artefacts from different parts of the world, civilisations and historical eras to sea and Bedouin cultures in Qatar and the Arabian Gulf and a selection of rare classic cars. Qatari and German business leaders also attended a dinner and discussed cooperation and ways of developing it to serve mutual goals.
