Doha, Qatar: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced the operating hours for its services during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday from March 17 to March 23, 2026.
Emergency Services
The Trauma and Emergency Center will continue to operate as normal, providing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week for medical emergencies. Pediatric Emergency Centers will also remain open around the clock throughout the week to provide emergency care for children under the age of 14 years.
Ambulance and Call Center Services
The Ambulance Service will continue to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people requiring emergency medical assistance. HMC’s Nesma'ak 16060 call center will operate 24/7, while the 16000 Government Healthcare Hotline will also remain available around the clock during the holiday period.
Outpatient Clinics and Urgent Consultation Service
HMC outpatient clinics will remain closed from March 17 to March 23 and will reopen on March 24 , 2026. The Urgent Consultation Service will follow the same schedule, remaining closed from March 17 to March 23 and reopening on March 24, 2026.
Pharmacy Home Delivery Service
The Pharmacy Home Delivery Service will be closed on March 20 and 21. On March 17 to 19 and again on March 22 to 23, the service will operate between 8am and 1pm.
National Mental Health Helpline
The National Mental Health Helpline will continue to operate during the Eid holiday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday to Thursday.
Diet and Nutrition Services
Diet and Nutrition Services at Hamad General Hospital will operate from March 17 to 23 between 7am and 12pm, with no service provided on March 20 and 21. At Al Wakra Hospital, the service will operate from March 17 to 23 between 8am and 1pm, with no services available on March 19, 20 and 21.
Qatar National Blood Donation Center
The Qatar National Blood Donation Center will operate on March 19 from 8am to 1am and again from 6pm to 12am. The center will remain closed on March 20 . From March 21 to March 23 , it will operate daily from 9am to 9pm.
