ISLAMABAD: A gas pipeline has been blown up with explosive material near Maripur road in Pakistan, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) said.
According to General Manager SSGC Mushtaq Siddiqui, a 16-inch diameter gas pipeline was exploded by unidentified outlaws near Maripur road.
A team of SSGC is busy in repairing work of the pipeline and the leakage of the gas has been stopped in the first place, Pakistan's Geo News reported.
A huge explosion was heard at about 8 PM near Saddar Town among various others which created panic in the city. (QNA)
