Participants during the Iftar meet hosted by KMCC Nadapuram committee.
Doha: Qatar KMCC Nadapuram Mandal Committee organised a ‘Nadapuram Tura’ (Iftar meet). The event saw massive participation and organisational excellence.
The Iftar gathering, which took place at Thumama Olive International School ground, was attended by both the expatriates from Nadapuram and its surrounding area, as well as notable figures from different sectors in Doha.
The mega Iftar was organised to bring together thousands of people including women and children. As a part of the event, a free medical checkup was organised in partnership with Reyada Medicals.
The Iftar meet, chaired by CK Ubaid, was inaugurated by KMCC State President SAM Basheer, while Kozhikode District Muslim League Treasurer, Soupy Narikatteri, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The event witnessed the participation of several individuals, including ICC President Mani Kandan, Jafar Khan, Mohammad Kunj, Varki Boban, Abdul Raoof Kondotty, MP Shafi Haji, Zainul Abideen Safari, Raheez Wayanad, Saudi Mustafa, Dr. Samad, as well as representatives from various organisations such as Abubakar Qasimi, Sadique Chennadan, Ansar Kolladan, KTK, Naushad UMAI, Ashiq Voliq, Jassim Kunnoth, and Santosh Thuneri. Several media persons were also in attendance.
The event also featured a felicitation ceremony for individuals selected to serve on the Indian Embassy’s apex body and KMCC Al Ihsan Mayyith Paripalana Committee, which supports with paperwork clearance, repatriation of bodies, and performing final rites for burials in Qatar.
During the event, prizes were awarded to the winner of the Sneha Suraksha Yojana project, Ajmal PP, as well as to the best-performing panchayat committee.
