BAGHDAD: A civilian was killed and five others were wounded when a car bomb went off in Sadr city in eastern Baghdad on Thursday morning.
A police source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a car bomb exploded near Maridi market in Sadr city, killing one civilian and wounding five others.
He added that the explosion caused material damage to a number of nearby cars and buildings."
It is mentioned that Baghdad had seen yesterday evening, a series of car bombings, three of them in Sadr city, which left dozens dead and wounded. (QNA)
