DOHA: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce announced on Saturday in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles (NBK Auto), it has recalled the Mercedes-Benz C-Class model 2014, due to manufacturing defects in the steering column.
The Ministry said the recall decision was part of its continuous coordination and follow-up to ascertain the commitment of car dealerships to follow-up vehicle defects and repair tem as well as protecting consumer rights.
The Ministry stressed that it will coordinate with the company's agent to follow up on maintenance, repairs and communication with customers to ensure the implementation of procedures and reparation the defective cars.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce urged all consumers to report any irregularities by communicating the Consumer Protection Department (CPD), which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its different channels of communication.
