Doha: Qatar cabinet today announced decision to lift more Covid-19 restrictions as part of the second phase.
In the second phase it was announced that kids will be allowed entry into malls and souqs from Friday, June 18, 2021.
One of the most anticipated decision for parents as many were commenting on social media they anguish that they can’t take the young ones anywhere as temperature is soaring and outside play has become difficult.
Cabinet today announced that shopping centres can work with a capacity not exceeding 50%, allowing children under 12 years of age to enter, and allowing the opening of food courts at 30% capacity, mosques, and toilets.
Souqs and wholesale markets can open throughout the week, with capacity not exceeding 50% and children under 12 years of age are allowed.
Children under seven will not be allowed inside mosques for daily and Friday prayers.
