Doha:  Ooredoo has launched Nojoom promotions for Ramadan, as members can redeem their Nojoom Points to donate to charity, or for iftar and sohour meals at luxury hotels.

As part of the new Nojoom promotions tied to Alrabaa (friends), Ooredoo’s Nojoom members can redeem their Nojoom Points to be donated to Qatar Charity, or for the first time, the Sheikh Eid Bin Mohammad Al Thani Charitable Association, also known as Eid Charity.

Nojoom members can donate either a set amount from QR25 up to QR2,000, or for iftars for two, five or 10 people.

All of these Nojoom promotions can be accessed from the Ooredoo mobile application.

From the app homepage, Nojoom members can directly redeem their Nojoom Points to donate to charity, and follow the counter of total Nojoom Points redeemed and donated to charity.

Moreover, in sharing the communal spirit, Nojoom members can treat family and friends to an iftar or sohour meal at five of Qatar’s luxury five-star hotels. Participating hotels include The Ritz-Carlton Doha, Sharq Village & Spa, Oryx Rotana, The Torch Doha, and Hilton Doha.

Mustafa Al Qatami, Director Branding and Corporate Communication, Ooredoo said: “In the sharing spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, Nojoom is enabling members to care for those in need by donating money or Iftar meals to charity to help those in need. This is a special time to share with loved ones, and in response to customer demand, we’re also connecting our customers through the offer for Iftar and Sohour meals at leading hotels.”
