Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched an urgent appeal to raise $3m (QR10.95m) to support 40,000 persons (6,000 families) affected in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, for next six months.
QRCS said in a statement that it allocated QR2m for emergency needs, which include the provision of medical supplies and fuel for hospitals as well as QR2m from the Emergency Response Fund (ERF) for urgent intervention in the Gaza Strip in the areas of emergency.
QRCS condemned violations committed by Israeli occupying forces in the Gaza Strip and called on the international community to to take all measures to stop the bloodshed.QNA
