Palestine, Gaza: Gaza fishermen were forced today to return to shore and cut short their fishing endeavor after Israeli navy boats opened fire in their direction, according to Palestinian local sources.
According to WAFA news agency, Israeli navy opened heavy machine gunfire at the fishing boats sailing in the northern waters of the Gaza Strip, disrupting their work and forcing them to return to shore to avoid being injured or detained. No one was hurt.
