Doha, Qatar: DPS Modern Indian School and DPS Monarch International School jointly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great patriotism and pride. The event brought together students, teachers, parents and distinguished guests in a meaningful tribute to India’s freedom and heritage.
The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag and the singing of the Indian National Anthem. The celebration was graced by Yasir Nainar, Chairman, DPS Group; George Thomas, President, DPS Modern Indian School; Rocky Fernandes, President, Monarch International School; Sonny Varghese, Vice President, DPS Modern Indian School; Sreedharan K., Vice President, Monarch International School; Asna Nafees, Group Academic Advisor, DPS Group of Institutions; and special guest Anuj Mittal, Asset Manager at Barwa Real Estate, Qatar.
Students from both schools presented inspiring speeches, poem recitations, patriotic choir performances and vibrant cultural dances.
