Riyadh: GCC Interior Undersecretaries began their 127th meeting here yesterday.
The session chairman and Bahrain’s Interior Ministry Undersecretary Major General Khalid Al Absi said the meeting is discussing implementation of the recently-approved GCC resolution to take action against Hezbollah members in the Arabian Gulf region.
Measures could include cancellation of visas and restrictions on financial and commercial transactions.
The meeting also considered cooperation with relevant authorities in the GCC to enforce penalties in case of violations of restrictions.
