QCA organised a basic umpiring course under an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) official to promote the sport at the expatriate school level in Qatar. The course for women sports teachers was conducted between September 26 and October 2 and 13 teachers took part in it. Earlier, 13 men sports teachers attended a similiar course conducted from September 9 and 17. ACC instructor Malik Nazar Mohammed conducted the course and gave important tips to the participants.
