Expat singer to hold musical concert in tribute to Qatar

Rmerging young singer Nadir Abdul Salam is holding a musical concert to mark his love, affection and solidarity to Qatar, its rulers and people on the National Day. The Arab Concert in coordination with popular Arab band Al Mahabba will be held today. Nadir will focus on performing popular Khaleeji songs about Qatar and its rulers. It is considered to be the first ever Arabic Concert dedicated to an Arab Country by an Indian singer. 

Nadir, a 2nd year student of Qatar Music Academy, has been receiving special training in playing Oud. The class 10 student of MES Indian school has received several awards and appreciation from numerous acclaimed singers like Muhamad Abdu , Ali Abdul Sattar, Sami Yusuf, Meher Zain, Yusuf Islam and Masood Kurtis. His recent performance with Sami Yusuf at Katara has been well appreciated by the packed audience. 

Famous Qatari singers Ali Abdul Sattar and Aboud khawaja will be among the chief guests of the event. Indian Ambassodor Sanjiv Arora, FEC Chairman Dr Saif Al Hajari, QSL Manager Abdul Rahman Al Dosary, Doha Bank CEO Dr R Seetha Raman and Manger Keeth Breth will also attend the event.
