DOHA: The Pearl-Qatar will host events from today until Wednesday to celebrate National Day.
United Development Company (UDC), in cooperation with its hospitality subsidiary, Hospitality Development Company (HDC), has organised three-day entertaining festivities for people of all ages and nationalities.
“National Day is a precious occasion for our country and is dear to our hearts,” said Badr Al Meer, UDC’s acting Chief Executive Officer.
“This day highlights the identity and history of this country and embodies its principles and aspirations. Naturally, our participation is a national duty through which we can express our loyalty and belonging to this country and its visionary leadership.”
The events will showcase Qatari patriotism and familiarise non-Qatari citizens with the local culture through ‘Al Arda’ dance and falcon display.
This year’s festivities will be highlighted by high-tech tower and water screen projections. Families and friends should prepare their warm tea and blankets to enjoy fireworks as the skies light up with all things Qatar.
Children of all ages will engage in fun-filled three days, including a Dora show, entertaining cartoon characters and comical clowns.
Everyone’s favourite inflatable games, face painting and much more will be held.
Expect Doha’s stunning five-star venue to be even more breathtaking than usual in its maroon and white garb as it rejoices in Qatar’s achievements.
