Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has sent a cable of greetings to the president of Lithuania on the occasion of her country’s National Day. The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister H E Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani sent cables of greetings to the president of Lithuania on the same occasion.

Doha: The Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, received a phone call from French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius yesterday. They reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
Kuwait Speaker arrives
Doha: Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker Ali bin Fahad Al Rashed arrived yesterday leading a delegation. He was greeted at Doha International Airport by Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi, Deputy Speaker Issa bin Rabia Al Kuwari, Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahd bin Mubarak and Kuwaiti Ambassador Ali Salman Alhefy.
Sudanese minister leaves Doha
Doha: Sudanese Investment Minister Mustafa Osman Ismail left Doha yesterday. He was seen off at Doha International Airport by Qatar Museums Authority’s head of International Relations and Protocol Rashid Al Hajri and Sudanese Ambassador Yasser Khedr.
