MANAMA: Bahrain's Minister of State for Information Affairs and the Official Spokesperson of the Government Samira Ibrahim Rajab has met with HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani on the occasion of assuming his duties as Ambassador of Qatar in Manama.
During the meeting, the Bahraini Minister welcomed HE the Qatari Ambassador, and emphasized the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar and the constant keenness to promote and develop them in all areas for the benefit and interest of the two peoples.
She wished HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani success in his new assignment, and in further strengthening the cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The Bahraini Minister also praised the depth of bilateral relations and the development and growth that had been reached in various fields.
For his part, Ambassador Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani expressed thanks to the Minister for the warm welcome and pointed to the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly peoples, stressing keenness to develop them.
Qatar's Attorney General holds meetings in Riyadh
RIYADH: Chief of Saudi Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution Sheikh Mohammed bin Fahd Al-Abdullah met here Monday with HE Qatar's Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fetais Al-Marri and his accompanying delegation.
HE Qatar's Attorney General also met with Saudi Minister of Justice Mohammed bin Abdul-Kareem Al-Issa.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on a number of judicial and legal issues, and means to support judiciary and the work of special prosecutions work in the Gulf and Arab countries, both in the framework of the Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States or the Arab League. (QNA)
