doha: The Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Dr Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi, who is also the Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council and the Chairman of the Education Excellence Day (EED) Award’s Board of Trustees, has approved the final and official names of the EED awardees for the academic year 2012-2013.
The awards cover six categories: The “Distinguished Secondary Student”, the “Distinguished University Graduate”, the “Distinguished PhD Holder”, the “Distinguished Teacher”, the “Distinguished School”, and the “Distinguished Secondary Research Paper”.
The EED Board of Trustees previously submitted the final reports to the office of the Emir for approval in preparation for the celebration of the winners during the award ceremony that will be held on 3 March 2014.The Peninsula
