Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan HE Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
At the beginning of the call, HH the Amir and HE the Prime Minister exchanged greetings on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. They also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them in various fields.
During the call, they also discussed the latest developments in the region, particularly the current situation in the Middle East.
The two sides exchanged views on ways to de-escalate tensions and promote stability, and emphasised the importance of diplomatic solutions and dialogue to resolve crises at both regional and international levels.
