Ministry of Youth, Sports celebrates Qatar's representatives at international events

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has organised an interactive meeting entitled "Our Youth Forum," bringing together young people who represented the State of Qatar at international events during the past year.

This forum was organised as part of the Ministry's commitment to strengthening direct communication with young people and sharing their diverse experiences gained through their international participation.

In his address at the event, Ahmed Mohammed Al Harami, Assistant Undersecretary for Youth Affairs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, expressed his delight at meeting a select group of young Qataris who shouldered the responsibility of representing their country on international platforms.

He emphasised that their remarkable achievements reflect the ability of Qatari youth to participate confidently, express themselves consciously, and lead dialogue with a sense of responsibility.

He commended the high level of performance demonstrated by the young people during their international participation, considering these experiences a comprehensive model of leadership that contributes to character development and fosters a sense of responsibility among young people.

For his part, Fawaz Abdullah Al Musaifri, Director of the Youth Affairs Department, expressed his pride in meeting with the young people following their active participation in international forums. He commended their competence and excellence in representing their country and affirmed the Youth Affairs Department's commitment to supporting and empowering youth to continue achieving success.

The forum's program also featured a short video showcasing the most significant international engagements of the youth, and a session titled "Youth Discussions," during which participants shared highlights of their international participation in 2025 and the accompanying intellectual, cultural, and humanitarian experiences through brief presentations.

The meeting concluded with a review of the key outcomes and recommendations, which emphasised the importance of enhancing youth participation in regional and international forums and leveraging their experiences to develop youth programs and initiatives, while also stressing the importance of monitoring and building upon these experiences in the future.
