DOHA: Roudha Center and Grand Hyatt Doha have signed a memorandum of understanding, where the hotel will become Roudha Center’s exclusive hotel partner and will host many of Roudha Center’s events over the next year.

Roudha Center is Qatar’s only not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering and developing local female entrepreneurs, innovators, and future leaders. Chaired by Sheikha Hanadi bint Naser bin Khaled Al Thani, Roudha Center has reached over 6,000 local women through its innovative workshops, lectures, and initiatives, that focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership and empower women with the confidence, skills, and ambition they need to succeed.

As per the MoU, Grand Hyatt Hotel will host a variety of Roudha Center’s many exciting events, workshops, and lectures this year.

This will include monthly business workshops conducted by members of the corporate community, monthly high tea networking events, Mashrouai programme graduation ceremony, quarterly business breakfast, and Roudha Center’s two year anniversary gala dinner, among others.

“Roudha Center is honoured to partner with such a prestigious name in hospitality both locally and internationally,” said Managing Director of Roudha Centre, Shareefa Fadhel.

“Hyatt’s global corporate responsibility platform, Hyatt Thrive, is designed to help make our communities places where our associates are proud to work, our guests want to visit, our neighbours want to live and owners want to invest,” said Grand Hyatt’s General Manager Christoph K Franzen.

Co-founded by Aysha Al Mudehki and Shareefa Fadhel, Roudha Center is a one stop shop for women entrepreneurs; a non-profit focused on fuelling the economy through entrepreneurship.
