Ritadh: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced on Saturday the calendar for the 1448 AH Umrah season, including schedules and electronic services related to visa issuance, contracting procedures and the reception of Umrah pilgrims.
According to the ministry, the official Umrah season calendar for 1448 AH is as follows:
- 14 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH (May 31, 2026): Commencement of issuing Umrah visas and entry of Umrah pilgrims into the Kingdom.
- 15 Dhul-Hijjah 1447 AH (June 1, 2026): Commencement of entry for Umrah pilgrims into Makkah and issuance of Umrah permits through the “Nusuk” application.
- 1 Shawwal 1448 AH (March 9, 2027): Final date for issuing Umrah visas.
- 15 Shawwal 1448 AH (March 23, 2027): Final date for Umrah pilgrims to enter the Kingdom.
- 30 Shawwal 1448 AH (April 7, 2027): Final date for Umrah pilgrims to depart from the Kingdom.
