Doha: An Indian man in Madhya Pradesh state has been diagnosed with green fungus infection. As per Indian agency reports the Covid1-9 survivor was shifted to Mumbai for treatment few days back.

According to Indian media the 34-year-old did a test suspecting black fungus infection (mucormycosis) but it turned out to be green fungus, which is also known as Aspergillosis.

As per medical professional more studied have to be done on the same as there is no research showing the correlation between Covid-19 and green fungus.

The infection can lead to bleeding from nose, high fever, severe weight loss and weakness.

Earlier black, white and yellow fungus cases were reported among some recovered Covid-19 patients in some countries.
