Doha: Strong Northwesterly wind observed at most areas causing blowing dust and dusty weather at times, along with low horizontal visibility at times, stated the Qatar Meteorology Department.

It further warned residents to be careful while heading outdoors.

The department also issued marine warning that will be in place until tomorrow as the wave height ranges between 7-10ft with Northwesterly wind ranging between 22-35 KT.

The dusty weather is due to the movement of dust masses from the northeast of the Arabian Peninsula towards the country's airspace and is expected to last until tomorrow.
