Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday returned home from a short working visit to Turkey.
The Emir and his delegation were seen off at Ankara International Airport by Turkish Minister of Finance and Head of the Mission of Honour, Mehmet Simsek, senior officials, Qatari Ambassador Salem Mubarak Al Shafi and embassy officials.
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received a telephone call from the Tunisian President, Moncef Marzouki.
Talks dealt with means of enhancing relations and latest developments in the region, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip.
DOHA: The Consumer Protection Department (CPD) at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce booked five outlets for using and selling expired food products.
The outlets include a cake and ice-cream shop in Al Wakra, a supermarket in Umm Salal, two beauty parlours in Al Shamal and another in the Airport Area, said a press statement.
