Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6am on Sunday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain may be thundery at times, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain and strong wind at places.

Wind inshore will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 07 to 17 knot reaching to 27 knot with thundery rain.
Offshore, it will be southeasterly to easterly at a speed of 11 to 21, reaching to 26 knot with thundery rain.
Visibility will be 05 to 10 kilometers or 03 kilometers or less with thundery rain.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 3 feet surging to 4 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 3 to 6 feet surging to 8 feet with thundery rain.
In the morning, many parts of the country saw strong wind.
“Observing strong southeasterly wind in some areas, especially at the central and western parts of the country, with gusts exceeding 25 KT at times,” QMD said.
The hottest temperature recorded today is 41 degree Celsius and lowest is 33 degree Celsius. Sunday will also see similar temperature with the minimum dipping further to around 30 degree Celsius in some places.
