A flag-hoisting ceremony at the DPS Monarch International School to celebrate 75th Independence Day of India.
Doha: DPS Monarch International School has celebrated 75th Independence Day of India with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. Hassan Chougule, President of the school, unfurled the Indian flag and marked the beginning of the celebration.
In the famous words of Mahatma Gandhi ‘Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow men’.
True to the above words, DPS Monarch International School amid its service to the society marked its tribute to the nation by celebrating the Independence Day.
Speaking on the occasion, School Head Boy, paid tributes to the national leaders. The programme was streamed live on school Facebook page. The school Vice-President Yasir Nainar addressed the gathering and his clarion call on the occasion to the future citizens was to enhance their knowledge and to utilise it to serve the country and their countrymen alike. The school Head Girl, called an end to the programme with the vote of thanks.
